India on Track introduces ‘The Sports Movement’  

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the sporting industry across the world has entered into a situation where sports events are getting cancelled or postponed and have raised many other concerns.

The Sports Movement is a video conference organized by India on Track (IOT) and it will discuss the aftermath of the ongoing circumstances on world sports, immediate areas of concerns including when professional sports will make a comeback, will contact sports ever be the same again, how much will COVID-19 change sports as we know it and what are the key learnings of the industry and future.

The webinar will go Live on The Quint and News X at 6 pm on 30 April 2020. The video conference includes speakers who have made their names big in the global sports industry; namely, Javier Tebas (President, Laliga), Sunil Gulati (Former President, US Soccer Federation and FIFA Council Member), Anil Khanna (Member – Board of Directors, International Tennis Federation), Paul Rogers (Chief Strategy Officer, AS Roma) and Dhiraj Malhotra (Chief Executive Officer, Delhi Capitals).

India on Track (IOT) has been set up to inculcate a culture of sport amongst the youth and create a platform to learn and participate in various disciplines. IOT wants to equip India’s next generation with the tools to help build a healthier, stronger nation that would have its roots as much in sports as other disciplines.
