Indian dietary supplement brand Unived has opened their new production unit. Unived is a Vegan company that manufactures various plant-based products in the general wellness, kids nutrition, and sports nutrition space.
Spread across 20,000sqft, this unit will be fully equipped with capsule, powder, and gel production lines, QC labs, R&D labs, new product development rooms, sufficient storage for materials and finished goods, a complete order processing & dispatch line, as well as office spaces.
An entire floor dedicated for production line expansion, which aim to conclude next year. New product formats, innovative delivery modes, and entries into categories which the company is not present in at the moment. Pharma grade partitions & doors cube the production floor, stage segregation and ample space allow the QC teams to be more efficient.
“We had a vision when we started, back in 2010- to have our own 100% Vegan fully equipped industry leading unit. By no means have we arrived – however, this is a monumental step in that direction. Our desire was to achieve it on our own merit. So while the D2C industry and PE kept making love, we turned down every offer for infusion, and stuck to our core desire to remain bootstrapped until we felt we’d done something credible on our own.
